Philadelphia Greek Independence Day Parade 2012

Philadelphia's Greek Day Parade is more than a single day event, but a full weekend's worth of fun and festivities. The detailed itinerary follows below, and includes a dinner party the evening before, the Great Doxology the morning of, a luncheon just before the parade's launch, the parade itself and finally a reception with dance performances following the parade's conclusion.

PARADE ROUTE
STARTING/FORMATION AREA (Formation time is 1:00 PM)

18th Street and Race Street (along the Ben Franklin Parkway)

First groups will form at 19th and Logan Circle on the Parkway and all other groups will continue forming behind them towards City Hall on the Parkway
MARCH ROUTE (Starting time of Parade is 2:00 PM sharp)

Parade will begin at 19th and Logan Circle

Parade will move NW along the Ben Franklin Parkway

Parade will go past the reviewing stand near Eakins Oval near the front of the Art Museum
